Real Littles Backpacks and Handbags

I'm going to keep this one as simple as I can, so it's easier to write and easier to read.

Real Littles! "Cute and colourful bags filled with real mini collectable surprises! Find 6 stationery surprises inside your micro pack that really work!"

In each set, there are "30+ surprises", but no checklist included to know what they are.

6 backpack variants, RRP $14AUD, 7 handbag variants, RRP $15AUD.

 

Backpacks contain LOADS of stationery, and the handbags have real makeup and tiny sticker bandaids. You could get the limited edition FUNCTIONAL mini Calculator in the Backpack set, or the Ring-Watch in the Handbag set.

I got the mermaid theme backpack and handbag first - they're my faves - from Big W for $8 each on sale. I yoinked the box display section because I grabbed the last one :D

The silver and rainbow handbags came from Woolworths, on clearance for $7.50 each.

The fluffy rainbow backpack came from a local-ish Mr Toys for $12.99 on closing-down sale. It was the hardest to find, I'd checked every other store nearby and they had no stock of it, so I was ok with paying this price. There's some variation in the colouring of this one because of the rainbow fabric used.

All of the barcodes are identical, so the stock of a specific style cannot be searched for automatically.

They are indeed cute, very small - they fit in the palm of my hand :)

The silver holo bow handbag came with;

(yes it was missing a surprise. I noticed this is a trend in some Youtube unboxings)
The bag is very shiny and has a faux leather feel.

The rainbow handbag contained;
- 'real littles 2021' rainbow purse magazine notebook
- purple lipgloss
- mini bandaid stickers
- cloud sequin shaker charm
- cloud mirror compact
- purple gel pen
The bag is a smooth glittery material on all surfaces but the front.

In the Mermaid handbag, I got;
- pink cap, green bottle
- black and pink brush
- pink butterfly hair clip
- purple gum eraser
- mermaid tail charm
- clamshell mirror compact
The handbag is covered in sequin glitter that flakes off when handled roughly.

My Mermaid backpack came with;
- holo scale spiral book
- purple fishtail pen
- pink strawberry bonbon highlighter
- 'summer' theme stickers
- french fries eraser
- yellow-pink heart sticky notes
The backpack itself has textured scales!

The fluffy rainbow backpack contained;
- rainbow fluff print spiral book
- pompom fluff topped pen
- ice cream cone eraser
- pink tape with hearts
- 'pop' theme stickers
- yellow-pink heart sticky notes
This bag is GORGEOUS and so fluffy, I totally understand why this one was a crowd favourite and became difficult to find.

The display box contents are identical to all boxes.

- Cat coin purse

- Purple gum eraser
They come out easily and can be put back in to keep for display.

Not everything is guaranteed to come in each bag, except for two pre-determined items (unless you get one of the error ones that contain another bag's item or is just straight up missing pieces like my silver bow bag). Everything else is completely random. With some research, I was able to determine the following lists:

For a surprise product, these are pretty good. Most of the stuff is functional and can be used and is super cute. What I'm not a fan of is the prices here in Australia. RRP is $14-15, and the typical price I've seen them sell for is $12. That's still a lot for miniature bags and stationery, and completely the reason why I waited for sales to buy most of mine. To complete the whole set without trading would be astronomically expensive.

Kmart sells a lot of cute, cheap stationery and nick-nacks that you could DIY multiple of your own 'Real Littles' bags at the same price as the real thing if you were on a budget. They won't be the same but you'll get way more for your dollar and they'll be just as functional. 

Kmart also straight up, sells a mini backpack with stationery in it for $2.00 but it's not as cute.

Na Na Na Sparkle Series 1 - Mermaids and Pirates - An Overview

The Na! Na! Na! Surprise Sparkle Series 1 dolls were released January 12, 2021 and standard retail here in Australia is $32.00.  I managed to grab a whole set for on-sale prices of between $22-$24 each back in June of this year. Each box is an identical teal sparkly  bunny-eared pillow puff plastic case, the only difference between each is the sticker symbol indicating who is inside. When cracked open, inside is a balloon bag, straw, and instructions. You inflate the balloon bag with the straw, tear back the tab on the top of the bag. Then squash the bag and the top pops out shooting confetti everywhere. Of all the Na Na's I've opened, I've only done this to ONE. There's lots of cute confetti, yes, but it's just so messy and I wanna keep it all for crafts.   There's a notch in the top of the balloon bag where you pop the confetti out, that you rip open to reveal the Pom, and 'mystery' accessory bags. The accessory bags also have a tear notch to rip open....

L.O.L. O.M.G. Super Sonix Super Surprise

Note: Click on pics to enlarge! This review is taking a temporary reversion to my old boring format but I've recorded the whole unboxing for your viewing pleasure. Please forgive the quality, it's my fourth vid, so I'm still learning how to use Filmora to its full extent. The full time of the unboxing, dressing and tidy up took over two hours which I've crammed into two 20 min parts with the magic of editing.  Split in two cause my account wasn't verified and it was talking 12+ hours to upload D: [Part 1] [Part2] I took pictures during the unboxing up until I removed Bhad Girl from the box because her face shocked me so much I forgot to keep taking photos.
